Hillsdale Bifacial Carport

Opsun collaborated with Cupertino Electric to develop a unique bifacial solution for the Hillsdale Mall, in San Mateo, California. The result is a stunning monoslope carport design with nearly 800 kW of carport in the parking lot, and over 230 kW of East-West ("A-Shape") flat roof system installed on a custom canopy.

Opsun's carport design team can uphold any challenge in terms of shape and dimensions of the canopy array, as well as the environmental conditions. This design creates an elegant, continuous structure at a low tilt. Water is managed, and a gutter system brings rain water to the lower side of the array, keeping customers cars cooler and dryer.

Premium, elegant look from underneath with no apparent wires and all junction-boxes hidden to match the prestige location, giving this shopping center a unique, luxurious feel.
